Terms of Service
Last updated 15 August 2026
Always verify what an Agent tells you or does for you. Agents are built on large language models. They can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date, and they can fill in a form or take an action incorrectly. Do not rely on an Agent’s output for anything consequential without checking it yourself. Zephlo accepts no liability for decisions taken, or actions carried out, on the basis of Agent output.
1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of Zephlo (the “Service”). By creating an account, embedding an Agent, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
2. What the Service does
Zephlo lets you crawl content you control, ground an AI Agent in it, and embed that Agent on your website. The Agent can converse with your visitors and can call tools that you define, which run in the visitor’s own browser and can act on the page.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials and API keys secure, and for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or key has been compromised.
4. Your responsibilities
- —You may only crawl and ground Agents in content you own or have permission to use.
- —You decide which tools your Agent can call and what those tools do. You are responsible for the actions they take on your site, for scoping them safely, and for testing them.
- —You are responsible for telling your visitors that they are talking to an AI Agent, that the conversation is recorded, and for obtaining any consent your local law requires.
- —You will not use the Service to break the law, to infringe others’ rights, to generate deceptive or harmful content, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service.
5. AI output, and its limits
Agent responses are generated by large language models. They are probabilistic, not deterministic. An Agent may state something inaccurate, omit something important, misread the content it was grounded in, or complete a form or workflow incorrectly — including in ways that look confident and plausible.
The Service is provided as a tool, not as advice. Output must not be treated as professional advice of any kind, including legal, financial, medical, or regulatory advice.
You and your visitors should always verify Agent output before relying on it, and should independently check any action an Agent has taken on your behalf. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for the content of Agent output, for errors or omissions in it, or for any action taken or not taken in reliance on it.
Where an Agent is used in a context that affects someone’s rights, money, health, or safety, you are responsible for putting human review in place.
6. Data
Conversations with your Agent are stored so that you can review them and so the Service can function. How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Content you supply remains yours; you grant us the licence needed to host, process and display it in order to provide the Service.
7. Availability
We work to keep the Service available and performant, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we depend on third-party providers whose availability is outside our control.
8. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Service or to Agent output, even if we have been advised such damages are possible.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, losses and costs arising from your use of the Service, the content you supply, the tools you configure, or your breach of these terms.
10. Fees and termination
Paid plans are billed as agreed when you subscribe. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, or where required by law. On termination you may export your data for a reasonable period before it is deleted.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the Service develops. We will revise the date at the top of this page, and material changes will be communicated to customers. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
